  1. * Virtual Las Vegas Night

  3. 1. How to start the program
  4.    
  5.       There are two ways to run "Virtual Las Vegas Night", 
  6.       from Hard disk or from CDROM.  For best result, 
  7.       you need to run from Hard disk (8 MB free space required).
  8.  
  9.       Make sure that you are running in 386 Enhanced mode, and that
  10.       you have setup a swap file for Virtual memory.
  11.

  13.    a. Installation
  14.  
  15.       (1) Place the CD in your CD-ROM drive.
  16.       (2) Start Windows.
  17.       (3) In Program Manager, click on option "File", then click
  18.           on "Run".
  19.       (4) Type D:\SETUP Where "D" is the Physical CD-ROM drive 
  20.           (the letter of your CDROM drive).
  21.       (5) After Installation is completed, a new group - NEWTRAX
  22.           will be created.
  23.       (6) From the NEWTRAX window, click on icon "Microsoft Video 
  24.           1.1 setup" to install Video for Windows.

  27.    b. Run Virtual Las Vegas Night

  29.       ** Run from Hard Drive
  30.       Simply click on the icon "Virtual Las Vegas Night" from
  31.       NEWTRAX Group to start.
  32.  
  33.       ** Run from CDROM Drive
  34.       (1) In Program Manager, Click on "File", "Run", and then
  35.           type D:\ms_video\setup.exe where "D" is the physical
  36.           CDROM Drive. (Initial set up only)
  37.       (2) In Program Manager, Click on "File", "Run", and then
  38.           type D:\lasvegas\vegas.exe where "D" is the physical
  39.           CDROM Drive.

  47.      *IBM PC Compatibles
  48.      *386DX 33MHz 
  49.      *4MB RAM
  50.      *Windows 3.1 Multimedia compatible
  51.      (SoundBlaster or compatible Audio Cards supported by Windows
  52.      and Video for Windows)
  53.      *single speed (150K/sec) CD-ROM Player 
  54.      *256 Color SVGA with 512k video RAM at 640X480 display mode
  55.      *Microsoft Compatible mouse

  57.   b. SVGA display
  58.  
  59.      Support 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768 display modes.
  60.      For best result, please set up Video display size to
  61.      640x480 with 256 colors.

  65.      You need to install Microsoft Video for Windows / RunTime
  66.      Version 1.1 from NEWTRAX group to upgrade Intel Indeo Video
  67.      Driver to Version 3.2.
